These were my first pair from VF, and was thoroughly impressed by the quality and craftsmanship. I compare these to my Cazal 644's due to the shape and I enjoy how these VF 508 fits on my face. My initial thought of the "minty green/bronze"? lenses would just be for looks and have no actual shading from the sun, based on the photos online. Once I had them in person they definitely have a nice shade on them. I was so impressed I ordered a pair of the VF 508 "FU" frames, Brick Phone case, and Stash book (will review) about three days after I received these initial 508's!!! Definitely a solid pick up.
