Vintage Frames Company introduces a new chapter in its Artist Series with a limited edition trilogy created in collaboration with New York graffiti legend and celebrated designer Stash. Known for shaping the early language of street art in the 1980s, Stash brings his signature spray nozzle aesthetic to three of our most coveted silhouettes: Bowie, King Size, and XXL.
This release arrives during Art Basel Miami, marking another milestone in Vintage Frames Company’s long standing presence at the fair. For the past several years, the brand has used Art Basel as a platform to champion artists through exclusive eyewear collaborations and creative experiences. This year continues that tradition and expands it with one of the most culturally rooted partnerships the company has produced to date.

To celebrate the collaboration, Vintage Frames Company hosted a launch party on December 4th at our Miami flagship store. The event featured a live set by acclaimed DJ and producer Statik Selektah along with food from Bun B’s Trill Burger. The event was designed to bring together artists, collectors, cultural leaders, and longtime supporters of both brands, creating an environment that reflected the creative energy behind the project.

A number of familiar faces also came out to support the launch. FoodGod, Fabolous, Leah McSweeney, and Nicky Diamonds were among the guests who pulled up to experience the collaboration firsthand. Their presence highlighted the cultural reach of the project and added to the energy of a night that brought together Miami’s creative community.

Only 100 units of each frame were produced, making this trilogy one of the rarest capsules in our archive. Each design features classic black acetate paired with Stash’s internal spray nozzle pattern and a custom hand dipped asphalt gradient lens for a look that blends heritage craftsmanship with modern artistry.

The collaboration extends into the finer details. The spray nozzle theme appears again as 24kt gold rivets, connecting the frames directly to the culture that inspired them. Every pair also comes packaged in a collectible spray can shaped case that holds the sunglasses, lens cleaning solution, and a collaborative microfiber cloth. This presentation adds a unique collector element that enhances the storytelling behind the project.
Stash’s influence spans art, design, and fashion, with collaborations across global brands including Nike, BAPE, Casio, and Leica. His ability to merge graffiti culture with elevated design makes this partnership a natural fit for the Vintage Frames Company philosophy of honouring legacy while pushing innovation.
As part of Vintage Frames Company’s mission to highlight artistry across new mediums, this collaboration brings street culture into luxury eyewear in a way that feels both authentic and future facing. With production limited and demand expected to surge, the Stash trilogy stands as a true collector release for fans of both eyewear and contemporary art.
