From The Desk Of Dr. Shapiro: "MOP"

From The Desk Of Dr. Shapiro:

My mother is going to laugh when she sees this picture. I once sat with my high school janitor when I was punished at school. My punishment was to clean the school floors after some huge elaborate prank I played on the building. About 5 minutes into it, the janitor sat me down to talk to me about life. Being young and arrogant I really didn't listen to what he was saying. Some shit about my potential, some shit about what I could accomplish, and then one thing that stuck with me. He looked at me in the eyes and said "Whoever opposes you and stands in your way, MOP THE FLOOR WITH THEM". Different things trigger my imagination and ignite a much needed fire in me, this was one of them. Little sayings of inspiration are used in my personal life to get me through hard times. We all have a fire inside of us, it is about tapping in on how exactly to light it! It is about being able to fuel our own drive, at the drop of a dime if needed. It is about keeping our eye on the prize, and never taking our eyes off it. It is about never letting anything stand in our way. It is about being that force to be reckoned with. It is about setting an example with those who stood in your way for future opposers. The only thing that stands between you and your goal is yourself, everything else can be mopped up on the way. It took a janitor to teach me how to light my fire, it's going to be a maniac #vintagesunglasses purveyor that's going to teach you how to light yours. It's #Wednesday treat everything that stands in your way like dirt on your floor, grab a mop, and Mr. Fucking Clean your way through them! Whatever lights your fire is very important. The ability to turn on and off extreme drive at any moment will allow you to prevail in the darkest of situations. No matter how successful you may or may not be, remember the hunger. Remember the drive, remember the dedication, remember the fight! Never forget the ferocity it took you to get there. Retirement comes from success, but keeping your fire lit will never allow you to be in the dark. #morninginspiration #vintageframes
