I read a quote the other day from Swizzy that said "The sky isn't the limit, it's just the view" or something like that. As we approach #2013 everyone always asks me, what's next? What is the plan for VFC? I have been blessed with a work ethic that allows me to pretty much give anything a fair shot. My ability to try something, fail, and move on is my greatest assets. When people say that tacky shit that the "sky is the limit" they are right, except If you can cut your personal chains, the "universe is the limit". The only thing really stopping anyone from realizing their dreams, is themselves. We are our own worst enemy. People make all kinds of excuses why they can't, won't, and don't. It is personal boundaries that are the only hurtles in our life. I have engaged in plenty of situations that could be considered "over my head" in my life but I have NEVER let myself be intimidated. I haven't always succeeded, but I have always showed up ready to play. 75% of the mission is building the courage to try, 25% percent of the mission is not being afraid to fail. So to answer what's in store for VFC in 2013, everything. Even if we want to try something and think we will fail, we will NEVER not show up too play. It's #saturday and this past year people have huffed, they have puffed, but they have NEVER blown our fucking house down. Success starts and ends within. How the fuck would you know what you can do until you try? How the hell do you know what won't work until you fail? Who is anyone else to tell you what you have achieved when YOU set your personal goals. Stop making excuses!
