Alain Mikli is the French-Armenian creator of his artistic eyewear collection. He opened his design studio in Paris in 1978 featuring sophisticated styling with unique shapes and colors. European celebrities and trendy Americans have greatly enjoyed his collection. He touts his eyewear are “To see. To be seen.” He prides his vintage designs on being extremely comfortable while showing off his unceasing art devotion. In the mid-1980’s, the Alain Mikli collection was extremely popular with celebrities such as Elton John. His popularity made this unique line of eyewear extremely sought after by all. The Alain Mikli line was acquired by Luxottica in 2013, but has still maintained his timeless style by creating strong ties to the creative community and his constant experimentation with new materials.
