Yesterday was a very sad day as it came to my attention that a homie passed away after a long battle with cancer. The one and only Guru played a large roll in many lives. I had the pleasure of touring with him and his Montreal counter part Bless many years ago. Guru was always the life of the party. Besides for the fact that he took so many of us under his wings, he raised a generation with his lyrics. Guru will be missed but never forgotten.

When i was very young, the first rappers i ever worked with were the homies from Gangstarr. Aiding in the Canadian Platinumberg Entertainment, we were always working and touring with Guru and Dj Premier. Last night we found out that Guru had fallen into a coma. As we speak he is being operated on. Our prayers go out to Guru and the whole Gangstarr fam. Our thoughts are with you!
