Australian eyewear brand ksubi shows off new styles for the upcoming Spring 2011 Collection. Entitled “eye eye”, the collection is focused on classic styles with seven optical and eleven sunglass frames offered. Here’s a description from the brand: “eye, eye” sees mercenary heavy metal mesh, deserted island floral acetate and duty clerk optical combine for an industrial yet sculpted range. Modernizing post war shapes with iconic pacific style the collection reflects an effortless complexity.” More pics after the jump...

For next year, German eyewear-makers MYKITA team-up with high-fashion designer Romain Kremer on an eyewear model titled the Gordon. The goggle-esque design features a thick frame with the addition of side-walls which also feature lenses. Aside from the yellow colorway seen here, a white version is also in the works.

As you all know i am a Vintage Luxury Collector! Whether it be Vintage Mcm, Vintage Gucci, Or even Vintage Louis Vuitton, i want it all! Over the past couple of months we have engaged in working with a Luxury Archive by the name of LXR Produits De Luxe in Montreal. Nigel’s upcoming project, which is hosted by DJ Benzi and sponsored by 10 Deep, is due out August 28th.  Holt is having a release party the following night (August 29th) at Beauty Bar to coincide with the release. 

The album features a slew of dope cuts, including production and features from Mano, Donnis, Mikkey Halsted, Rockie Fresh and more.

Jeff Staple will be holding a HISTORY OF OAKLEY event in NYC this week. It will showcase the new Staple Oakley collaboration that i am very excited to see. I'm not big into the bike shit, as i am not a biker, but the shades are really dope. We will have staff on hand covering the event. if you are in NYC, go check it out!

Acne designer Jonny Johansson’s recent inspiration for his Spring/Summer 2011 line stems from an adolescent memory: Discotecs. Johansson recalls his youth and Disco fashion such as platform shoes, polyester, and wide-legged pants certainly motivating him to create mirror-like frames with unorthodox lens shapes. Acne’s recent presentation in Paris also displayed their collaboration with Thierry Lasky. The Spring/Summer 2011 line is expected to attract a multitude of sunglass enthusiasts with their wide range of colors and shapes.
