In early 2007, I would get countless emails asking about business. The majority of them weren't about sales, they were about how to pursue a dream. I was flattered to be able to help others. If not by guiding them, at least by listening. The word got around that I actually answered emails and they got even more numerous. By 2010 I started From The Desk Of Dr. Shapiro once a week on www.vintageframescompany.com. It was a way for me to blow off some steam out of my disappointment in this world we all live in. By 2011 the demand was even greater. The need for a new venue for my posts was obvious, so we chose#instagram as our vessel. Morning Inspiration was a way for me to format all questions and give one answer. The point being that I didn't have the answers. I however had a different way of thinking, a different background, different successes, and different failures. My friends laughed at the notion, my followers weren't sure what to make of it, but my persistence and dedication shined through. I am not preaching. I am not teaching. I am giving a different outlook on situations that most people wouldn't see. I talk in a language we all understand, and I use images we can relate to. At the end of the day this #louboutin#sneaker wearing, bearded maniac is putting himself on the line to try to help those reaching out. Everyone has the opportunity to do this for their community.
