This is one of my best friends @chrisb514 last night at the #xo show in#montreal. For #halloween he decided to dress up like me. I have to say he definitely went all out even down to the #montblanc pen in my hat. My other buddy I was with thought it was creepy. I thought it was flattering. Not that Chris particularly is trying to be like me (other then for costume purposes) but COPYING someone is the highest form of flattery. I have had many people over the years attempt to copy my business model. They figured since they are located geographically different it wouldn't get back to me. It seems to bother other people more then it bothers me. Life is all about how you look at things. A negative attitude would twist this into a big FUCK YOU. A positive attitude would see it as flattering. Regardless of your Hussle there will always be copy cats. Instead of it making you nuts, try seeing it as a tribute to your success. The truth is there is only one of you, even if they dress alike, talk alike, and walk alike, they are STILL just wearing your costume. It's #thursday time to take off that fucking costume and get back to reality. Don't sweat the copy cats. Use that flattery to fuel your drive, not light a fire. Anything successful will be copied. Make your mark as the original. From that point on everything else will just be seen as a silly fucking costume. #morninginspiration #vintageframes
