The number one question I am asked is why I wear a pen in my hat. Besides for the obvious reasons of convenience for a writing object, it is to constantly remind myself that THE PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD. Y'all think this is lame? Well nobody asked you! Coming from a rather rough background I had the tendency to get into fights. Unlike the other kids who usually opposed me, I had another choice. I was intelligent. Before a punch could even be thrown I could have destroyed my enemy with my intellect. Anybody could throw a punch, but how many people could win a battle before even engaging in physical contact. I learned at an early age that in fact wit was more powerful then physical ability. In every aspect of life my intellect would prevail. This notion was eventually applied to business. It was more acceptable to push people around in a business deal mentality then it would have been to do so physically. It is for that reason I chose to workout my brain instead of my arms. It's #sunday and if y'all think this means to go hit the fucking street and get your box on, then you should stop by 7/11 and apply on your way, business life ain't for you! Workout your mind. It doesn't matter what background you come from. Wether you are battling out the ghetto, or competing in a boogie society all can be overcome with a pen. The win of a mental battle is a wound someone will never forget. A win from a physical battle is something that can be healed.
