1987 was the year and voted most likely to be stuffed inside your stocking or under the tree probably had something to do with The Centurions, The Real Ghostbusters or Play-Doh. The stock market crashed that year but we immersed into television and radio and cop movies reigned supreme that year with Robocop, Beverly Hills Cop II and Lethal Weapon. For those who weren’t up on cops like that, the radio was kept loud with Michael Jackson’s BAD and tunes from Aretha Franklin, U2 and a special Christmas rhyme from none other than Run-D.M.C. called Christmas In Hollis.
